The short version

This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies, no tracking services and no third-party embeds such as social media plugins. We only process personal data that you provide to us through the enquiry form.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address in server logs (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in secure operation). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Content and images

Content and images are delivered through the content management system Sanity (Sanity AS, Norway, with infrastructure in the EU/USA). When images load, your IP address is transmitted to Sanity's CDN (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Sanity.

Enquiry form

When you send us an enquiry, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number, requested tour or preferred period, number of guests and your message. The purpose is handling your enquiry and preparing an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps). To look after returning guests we keep your contact details and booking history in a client database (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Marketing emails are only sent with your consent or within the limits permitted by law; you may object at any time.

Retention

We store enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and look after you as a guest, at most 3 years after the last contact, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax law) require longer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the contact address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
